(AMP) Proverbs 14:30
A calm and undisturbed mind and heart are the life and health of the body, but envy, jealousy, and wrath are like rottenness of the bones.
If anyone had cause to be anxious and disturbed it is Jeremiah. He preached to a hard hearted people who rejected him and the message form the Lord. But let's read what he says...
(NLT) Lamentations 3:21-26
Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: [22] The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. [23] Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. [24] I say to myself, "The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!" [25] The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. [26] So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord.
Today hope in the Lord. If you have failed, note that His mercies are new every morning. Start today afresh in His loving care. Take some time to wait quietly in His presence. If you are concerned about the economy note what or Who your eternal inheritance is. (vs 24) Hope in the Lord for a calm and undisturbed mind and heart.
