(NLT) Philippians 4:8
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
Oh Father in Heaven, You have created our brains which house our thoughts. What a magnificent machine that shows Your creative greatness.
Father, give us today what we need to feed our brains and minds. Forgive us for every evil thought. Remind us, by the power of Your Holy Spirit to take every thought captive. Grant Your grace to forgive those who sin against us with words that lead our thoughts into unholy paths, such as self hatred. Guide our thoughts in paths of righteousness for Your glory's sake. Keep us from sin and from the evil one and all his lies. Fill our minds with Your powerful love for us and with the worth we have in You.
All glory is Yours. Be glorifed in our thoughts. You rule over every kingdom. Do so in the kingdom of our thoughts. All power is Yours. Remind us this day that You are God in charge today.
